The Nova Scotia College of Nursing is in the process of finalizing our vaccination policy for our office.

We are working on how it will apply to our regulatory committees. Until now, almost all of our regulatory committees have meet virtually during the pandemic.

I am writing to you (as well as other regulators) to find out if (1) NSBEP have their regulatory committees meet virtually or (2) if committees are allowed to meet in person, do they need to show proof of vaccination?

NSRP Committees have been meeting virtually during COVID-19. I have been advised that a policy will be implemented that all NSRP Members, Staff, and other committee members participating in in-person meetings in the NSRP offices will be required to be fully vaccinated according to Public Health guidelines in place at the time of the meeting. The NSRP plans to begin some in-person meetings in January 2022. Either an attestation will be completed by the individual or proof of vaccination will be required, but this point has not yet been confirmed.
