I recognize that my current competency is in Counselling Psychology. I would like to declare an intention to grow in competency to use assessments and grow in the ability to practice Clinical Psychology and School Psychology, through the use of Class C assessments. I know that receiving the designation as a Psychologist will help me to be able to access the trainings and resources necessary to be trained to administer assessments. I plan to receive supervision in this area to help grow my competency.

The NSRP expects that the practice area declared by an applicant be consistent with the graduate program of study, e.g., Counselling Psychology. If you have information supporting competency in another practice area you can submit that information with your application, but it sounds like you are noting these are future intentions. In contrast to add an area of practice, if one is pursuing an expansion of activities conducted within their area of practice they could engage the Learning Plan process that NSRP outlines in page 18 of the Supervision Handbook.
