Hilary is setting up her own practice and the owner of the Business where Hilary currently works is the custodian of the files. However, the owner is happy to let Hilary take the client files of the clients who are going to go with Hilary. From the NSRPs perspective is the any policy on this or document, form for both the owner and Hilary to sign.
As the original client consent form was likely attributed to and singed within the confines of the original practice setting of the original custodian, it would still be important for the client’s to consent to the transfer of their file.
Hilary gave her personal residence when setting up the company and wants to know if it is ok with the NSRP for correspondence have a PO Box # on them as see doesn’t want them to have her personal address. Is there policy on this.
There is a policy from NSRP, but it states that we require a physical address where records are kept, but it does not require anything in terms of a physical address used for correspondence in relation to the process of setting up the company, so a PO box could be used for that purpose (at least from NSRP’s perspective)
