I am a PhD counselling psychology intern from the University of Alberta, whonis completing my internship at the Edmonton Health Consortium in Edmonton. Inam originally from Nova Scotia but moved here to complete the internship.

Pre-covid, interns were expected to be living in the province in which theynwere practicing/seeing clients, as services were provided in person.

However, as a result of the pandemic, flexibility has been provided tonpsychologists, allowing them to see clients in other provinces viantelehealth services. I am wondering if the same flexibility can be providednto interns? Specifically, would I be able to return to NS and continue tonsee clients in Alberta via telehealth?Part 2)

Thank you so much for granting me permission to work from NS while continuing to counsel Alberta clients via telehealth. I just wanted to confirm that this decision is still valid while I continue to work under a registered psychologist’s licence here in Alberta?
