REGULATING PSYCHOLOGISTS IN NOVA SCOTIA SINCE 1980

I am writing to enquire about the status regarding the complaint made to NSBEP about a psychologist. Other than acknowledgement of receipt of the complaint and signed consent documents, I have not heard anything. There are implications from an organizational perspective pending the result. Am I able to know the status or a potential timeline on the process?

Yes, the NSRP has received the complaint and signed consent documents.

To answer your question regarding the timeline, please be advised that the process can take from 6 to 18 months from the time the complaint has been received to the time a decision is made by the Hearing Committee.

As to the status, I can tell you that it is on-going.
