I am looking for information about options for registering in Nova Scotia, likely on a short-term basis on account of being a postdoctoral fellow seeking a tenure-track position in Canada. For reference, I would likely do clinical work in Nova Scotia as part of the pilot research study between July 2021 and April 2022.

I read about NSBEP Temporary Registration to Psychologists from Other Jurisdictions and believe that my clinical work for the pilot study described above will be contained within 300 practice hours per calendar year. Does courtesy registration appear to be a suitable option for my situation?One complicating factor is that I do not have couples as a declared client population in Ontario, despite having experience doing sex and couple therapy during graduate school. I do have authorization for clinical psychology with adults. Would I be permitted to do clinical work with couples in Nova Scotia as part of a research study under the Courtesy Register?
