To address your question regarding the allocation of supervision time between the supervisors, it would be good to know which supervisor you anticipate will be providing more supervision initially? We are asking about which NSRP Supervisor since Ms. Harris was also identified as a workplace supervisor and shifting too much supervision may change the circumstances that the Registration Subcommittee had anticipated based on the original supervision arrangement that was requested.
Some Candidates meet with each supervisor for a period of time each month and some alternate months. We advise that as long as the two hours per month of supervision requirement and candidate’s supervision needs are met then there is some flexibility allowed in the process. You and your supervisors can determine this to a large extent. However, the NSRP would ask that, once placed on the Candidate Register and when the candidate and supervisors are ready to submit the goals of supervision, they indicate how the hours will be allocated each month (e.g., .5 hour per month with one and 1.5 hour each or alternating 2 hours of monthly supervision between each supervisor, or in this case which supervisor you anticipate more meetings will be held with initially). There should be some regularity and sufficient time with both supervisors since they will be expected to rate you at the end of the supervision period.
