I just have a quick question about age groups that I am considered competent by NSBEP to work with. My understanding is that when I became registered, Inwas considered competent to work with individuals up to age 25 for psychoeducational assessment, as this is considered the upper limit of the adolescent age category. However, I can’t find any documentation of this innmy emails from NSBEP or in my NSBEP practice profile. I was just wondering if you would be able to confirm or correct this, as I will be beginning some work for a private practice soon, and they are looking for this informationnwhen filtering appropriate referrals to me.

To answer your question, when you applied to NSRP, you declared the following populations: children, adolescents, adults, families, and organizations within the scope of school psychology.

Registrant’s can login and view their practice profile by logging into the NSRP website and selecting the following option (one can view without making changes): “Review/Update Info – This option allows you to update your contact information or Psychological Practice Profile outside of the time when registration renewals are taking place”nTypically, adolescence covers the age of 12 to 19 years and adults are the age of 19 to 65 years.
