On another note, can you please let me know if/how the time I spent in supervised practice will be credited in Nova Scotia? I believe this information from the Ontario college was included in my application. I’m hoping to check when I will become eligible to complete my candidacyn_________________________nOk thanks for the information. Can you please clarify what supervision documentation that is required? If I send the records of supervision and work appraisals by email will that fulfill this requirement, or does this documentation need to come from CPO as well?I will request the letter from CPO verifying the hours, is email acceptable for this document?

To answer your question, you can request to receive supervision credit for the supervision completed in Ontario. As per Policy, in order to consider approval of this time, the NSRP requires a copy of the supervision documentation used in Ontario covering the period of supervision that was completed as part of the process in Ontario, and a letter from CPO to verify hours of supervised practice completed there.

This letter can be taken forward along with your request to the next NSRP meeting.

The letter from CPO outlining the hours of supervision can come by email.

She can also email the records of supervision and work appraisals.
