I am a new NSBEP registrant as of January 1st. I’m curious about the requirements for Continuing Education given that I have joined half-way through a registration year. Would you mind clarifying this or pointing me in the direction of the appropriate information so that I can be sure to fulfill my obligations.

She joined halfway through the year, so she would not be subject to the Continuing Competence requirements at this time. The requirements will begin when the registration year begins July 1, 2021. At that time, she would be expected to begin following the CC requirements.
I’m wondering if you can provide me some clarity about a jurisdictional related issue. The parent of one our youth in treatment lives in Thailand. To date I have been involving him in phone updates on the care of his son as well as seeking collateral input via phone to aid in diagnostic assessment. I will be requesting a change in my supervision and have read the information for this process on your website. My situation is a bit different, however, as my current co-supervisor has agreed to take me on full-time. In this way, Inwould have her as my sole supervisor. I imagine that in this case there are fewer forms that need to be completed – can you confirm which forms we are required to submit in this situation?
Actually since this would still involves a change in the supervision arrangement from co-supervision to supervision with 1 supervisor only. the board will still want the Change of Supervisor Evaluation Form completed, along with the supervision report from the outgoing supervisor covering the months of supervision with him (only since his last report was submitted).
Can a request for a chaperone, either in person or via telepsychology be denied? In this case the client was assaulted by a physician.

If a psychologist registered in NS has a client and they are seeing them via telepsychology. During the session the psychologist notices a different background and the client says “oh I went home to NB for a visit”. Should the psychologist send their registration number and contact information for a one off visit.
