I have a client whom is wanting to continue receiving services while in Nova Scotia for school, via telepsychology. This is an individual who is a resident of SK and contacted my office over the summer to receive services. They were however unfortunately placed on a waitlist and did not get their first session until they were already in Nova Scotia. Unfortunately, I was unaware that the client was located in Nova Scotia until it came up mid conversation via telepsychology, as my staff failed to note where the client would be physically located for the first session. They had already been in my office the week prior and reviewed and signed the consent form, so I am not sure if you would consider her an existing client or new client?Please advise,

I’ve been asked to assist a psychologist with incorporating. Are the any NSBEP requirements relating to this that I should be aware? I looked on your website but wasn’t able to see anything.
To answer your question, the NSRP does not require its registrants to obtain consent if they intend to incorporate. There is nothing in our statute or policy which would prevent registered psychologists from incorporating their psychological practice. I am writing to enquire about the status regarding the complaint made to NSBEP about a psychologist. Other than acknowledgement of receipt of the complaint and signed consent documents, I have not heard anything. There are implications from an organizational perspective pending the result. Am I able to know the status or a potential timeline on the process?

Lastly, as part of my undergraduate degree I completed an exchange semester in the Netherlands. These courses are documented on undergraduate transcript, but marked as pass/fail. I did not complete any psychology courses during this time. As such, am I required to submit this unique transcript if these courses have been documented as part of my application?
As long as the transcript of your undergraduate degree lists the courses to support your application, you would not have to also submit the unique transcript. If these courses are among the courses you list for the foundational knowledge areas, you should be sure to include course descriptions.

The program must include practica and/or internship directly supervised by psychologists. While members of other allied regulated professions may serve as secondary supervisors, the primary supervisor(s) must be a psychologist.
The practica must be an organized and integrated component of the graduate training program in psychology.
